Jared has accepted an offer to play basketball for the Leuven Bears, located in Leuven, Belgium.
We leave in August.This is where Belgium is (in case you're like me and geographically challenged)
Belgium is famous for waffles, chocolate and beer :)
We will be living in a university town, Leuven, Home of the Catholic University of Leuven.
They speak Dutch in the area we will live in, but the country also speaks french and german (I believe.. relying on Wiki).WE ARE SO THRILLED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.
So... anyone ever been to belgium?

Holy cow! Oh I'm sad you're moving, but happy at the same time! Living in a foreign country is awesome! Belgium is probably way more foreign than Canada is... study up on your metric system! Yay I'm so happy!!

You forget to mention we speak english as well, but it's not an official language obviously.
And beside a university city, we are THE beer city. The biggest brewing company in the world is located here ;)
Anyway, looking forward to see you play.
I'm glad you signed for our team. Hoping with you and your girlfriend that you will like our town. The team has beside's you 5 other US players and 1 Nigerian who was in US College.
